Former NCU President Dr. Hermon L. Douce Dies

Northern Caribbean University (NCU) regrets to announce the death of former President, Dr. Hermon L. Douce.  He died in Florida, USA, on May 10, 2018, following a brief period of illness. Dr. Douce served the University in various capacities including: Academic Dean (1971-1980) and University President (1981-1985).  He was promoted to the rank of Professor in 1997, served as Director of Graduate Affairs (1997-1999), as College Dean (1999), and even after his retirement continued to serve the University (1999-2009).  He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Douce; children, Avery, Rhonda, Michael (Donnie) and Yale (Tony); and son-in-law, Herbert Thompson. The memorial service for Dr. Hermon Douce will be held at the NCU Gymnatorium on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at 2:00 PM.
