Sherice Bromfield RESCUE Mission Update
Published: Monday, January 1, 2018 6:41:15 PM

The Northern Caribbean University (NCU) family and the family of Sherice Bromfield thank you for the outpouring of love, concern and support for her.  Sherice has a strong faith in her God and is now at home, and is in good spirits.  She still needs your support.

We invite you to join the University family at NCU, NCU FM and Sherice’s family in sustained prayer for her to overcome this illness. You can continue to contribute to her treatment by giving in the various ways noted toward the end of this update.

Sherice was hospitalized at the Mandeville Regional Hospital in December and treated with a costly interim medication while we await accessing the critical drug needed.  She was released some days later.  She will again be hospitalized in early January 2018 to receive additional treatment ahead of receiving the J$1.5 Million intravenous drug needed to effectively treat her health challenge.  We are still working on sourcing this drug for her.

Sherice Bromfield is a third year NCU psychology student, suffering from a life-threatening auto-immune disease known as Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura or ITP. This illness causes severe bleeding which doesn’t allow her blood to clot normally.   You can support Sherice by giving to NCU RESCUE 2020 with your donations through the following methods:
