Recently the Department of Music held its lunch hour concert at NCU's Main Auditorium. Classical music lovers were present to hear product samples from the department.

There were a total of six selections in the following order: Hark! The Echoing Air by Henry Purcell, Ach, ich fuhl’s        by Amadeus Mozart, Ah, non giunge, and Bellini all performed by Sashekia Brown, soprano. Prelude D flat major by Fredric Chopin was performed by Oren Thomas, piano, and Barber of Seville and Una voce poco fa by Giacomo Rossini, performed by Danielle Brown, mezzo-soprano. Accompanying Danielle and Sashekia while they sang was Music Department Chair, Dr. Kaestner Robertson, on the piano.

One student, Latia Ferguson, mentioned  "it was short but I enjoyed the two girls. They sang passionately." Lemuel Brady, lecturer at NCU gave his perspective by saying "One word; wonderful!"

This is their first lunch hour concert for this semester. The next lunch hour concert will be on November 28th with a recital a few days beforeon November 26 .
