NCU president Dr Lincoln Edwards was recently honoured at the St Jago Past Students’ Association Fundraising Banquet for his sterling contribution to nation building.

The annual event honours its outstanding St Jago alumi, teachers and administrators who have exhibited the highest level of service to school and country.

Dr Edwards in his response launched the Hector and Joan Stone Scholarship, an inaugural full scholarship tenable at Northern Caribbean University.

The recipient of this scholarship must be a past student of St Jago High School and have at least 6 CXC subjects, including Mathematics, English, and at least 1 science subject.

Laria Newell is the first recipient of this scholarship. She graduated from St. Jago earlier this year and is currently enrolled as a full time student in the Nursing Department at NCU.
