Thank
God it’s Friday (TGIF); the Sabbath approaches!!!
As
I read the chapter this morning, it was as if I read it before. But as already hinted; this is just the
execution of instructions already laid down.
Questions:
After
persons would have read the Bible and then meet us, do they get that deja vu
feeling?
Or
after they would have met us and then read the Scriptures can they say,
"I've seen this before?"
I
was also drawn this morning to the Rings and Poles. The rings and poles tell me clearly that the
burden of the items that had them was not to be borne by one person. The strategic placement of the rings meant
that weight would be equally distributed.
Now get this, you may be a millionaire, and I clearly am not, but each
of us is expected to return 10% of our increase. In real dollar value you would end up giving
more. Percentage wise however, which is
Heaven's evaluation tool, we stand on equal footing. In fact, according to the "Widow's
Mites" story, in offering I could end up a far more liberal supporter of
the work than you, albeit in the Church today dollar value is what is applauded
and gets honorary mention. But whether
in our abundance or out of few mites, let us be faithful, great will be our
reward in Heaven.

Then
the various types of materials used to construct the Sanctuary tell me that out
of the peculiarities of our race, culture, language, nationalities and skills
we are to come together to establish a united Church, bound together by the
cords of love that is available through the Holy Spirit. Based on reports I've gotten, and judging
from what I've seen on television, General Conference Sessions are quite the
affairs that seem to bring about this concept of harmony in diversity to
life. And what we experience daily here
on RBHW also does that beautifully. I
really hope we are all putting plans in place to be at GC Session in 2015.
Father
in Heaven, you are an awesome God indeed, and we are pleased to worship
you. Accept our worship we pray. Thank you for the beauty of your Words, and
may they find perfect translation in our lives daily we ask you. Help us also to bear our fair share of the
work of sharing the Gospel with a dying world - and let us be united in doing
so we pray. Thank you for the Sabbath
that approaches; guide us through today, the final preparation moments before
we enter into another period of exclusive celebration of your creatorship and
Grace.

And
before we go Father, we ask that you grant every request that was made during
this week on RBHW, the only condition being that you will be glorified in so
doing. All this we ask and say thanks
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
