Being the loudest, attacking the character of the opponent, and using multitudinous creative expletives tend to form the general framework of 'arguing' in Jamaica. As a direct result, many Jamaicans lack basic reasoning skills.

Dear Career Advisor: I recently received my CSEC results showing I obtained seven distinctions. I am now moving on to sixth form to do the CAPE . It is customary to do four pairs of CAPE units at the end of the two-year sixth form programme, but I keep hearing people saying that to get a scholarship doing more units is necessary. This obviously comes with more cost and time, but if it is necessary, I will do so. What do you think about that notion? Do I need to do more subjects to secure a tertiary scholarship?
