While
Jamaica celebrated its 50th year of political independence, the West
Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (WJC) equally joined the country as
it celebrated its 50th year of existence as a conference. The conference
which consists of St. James, Hanover, Westmoreland, and St. Elizabeth,
celebrated during a homecoming celebration at the Noel Frazer Auditorium at the
Salem head office site in St. James. The conference, in reflecting of God’s
leading in advancing the hope for the last fifty years had two former members
of the clergy from that region inspiring the people of western Jamaica to
strive for excellence for the future. Please enjoy this photographic highlight.
