West Jamaica Conference (WJC) of Seventh-day Adventists (SDA) recently
celebrated its 50th year of existence within the Jamaica Union
Conference of Seventh-day Adventists with a grand homecoming celebration at the
Noel Frazer auditorium in Montego Bay. Northern Caribbean University (NCU)
played an integral part in the celebrations with the staging of the musical –
Jamaica Unite. The musical was written by Pastor Derek Bignall and directed by his wife, Yvonne. The production
had members of the audience asking for more as they marvelled at the
originality and culturally significant presentation.
